About Casey
Hi! I’m Casey. I’m a Sydney based Dietitian. First and foremost, I’m a passionate foodie and love to eat. My mission in life is getting people to enjoy healthy food and not have to think about it. Healthy eating can be extremely tasty and easy and has the added benefit of keeping you slim and making you feel good. My other passion is people – I love a chat. Everyone has a story and what I love doing is finding that way which helps empower people with individualised ideas to improve health habits. My two passions merge together beautifully with the career I have chosen.
There is so much nutrition advice available out there - How do you know what to listen to? Nothing annoys me more so my new aim is to get the right nutrition advice out there on a wider scale which is why I am writing a book on habits of slim people and have a weekly podcast with episodes addressing the various issues and challenges people face when trying to lose weight. I have worked in nutrition in both Australia and the UK and attended conferences worldwide to stay up to date with the latest research and tips to bring to you! I have also had my own experiences with weight loss and dealt first hand with the challenges of the food environment we are in and staying slim.

When I’m not working, you’ll find me trying a new restaurant, having a drink or two with friends, at the beach (usually in the water), writing for media or my book, recording (and editing) my podcast episodes, doing exercise of some form (now it’s HIIT gym classes, jogging and yoga), listening to Latino music or cooking for friends. I’m a huge fan of the mornings and wake up ~5:30 most days (yes, even weekends)

I’m a proud Aunty of 3 and pride myself on my 4.88* Uber rating. I grew up in the country - a beautiful town called Yamba on the north coast (if you haven’t been you are missing out) and my favourite foods are salmon, coconut gelato, pumpkin and blueberries.
